John Adams has been involved in the creation, planning, and construction of environments for people his entire professional life. His formal education is in Architecture and Environmental Psychology, and he holds both bachelors and masters degrees. For over 25 years he served in management positions at Herman Miller Inc., an international leader is modern furniture design for office, health care, and residential environments. He has worked both domestically and abroad with large multi-national corporations, assisting them is solving facility planning and management problems. He was a co-founder of HomeCrafters LLC, a residential homebuilding company in Chicago’s western suburbs. For over 20 years he managed new construction, renovation and addition, and historic preservation projects. Since his departure from HomeCrafters, he is now providing consulting and advisory services under the auspices of Vesta LLC.
